What one can expect to pay:

A build typically takes several hours, three or more as a rule. Some assemblies might require lengthening wires for trikes, various specialized custom connectors (Powerpole, xt60, xt90) for electrical systems, or torque arm(s) to better secure the wheel for the motor power. I keep these parts in stock as well as the tools to properly create the connections.

My current rate is $60.00 per hour plus parts if I do the work. If you truly build your own and and I just sit around drinking tea telling you what to do…and lend a finger or two as needed…then $40.00 an hour. Yes, this retired school teacher wants you to learn!

So, about $120.00 to $180.00 at the above rates and you ride away happily knowing you did it yourself and know how take care of problems.
